COMMUNITY BANK, MALDON & DISTRICT, DUNOLLY BRANCH
On 24 April 1999, Community Bank Maldon & District opened its doors to a whole new concept in banking services.
WE ARE DIFFERENT BECAUSE WE:-
• Are locally owned and operated by the community, for the community
• Provide a viable, local banking service, distribute profits and partner on projects for community benefit
• Are local business at its best, keeping money in local economies and employing local people
Community banking is one of the most impactful ways to get things done in our community. Why? Community Banking is based on a ‘profit-with-purpose’ model, which means our profits are returned directly to the local community that generated them – the more people who bank with us, the more we can give back. We call this ‘shared value’. This is the foundation of our Community Bank model. We are owned by members who are from our community or connected to our community in some way.
Our vision is for a thriving, sustainable and connected community.

EVACUATION
IN AN EMERGENCY
Gordon Garden Reserve (Grounds Only) – Dunolly
80 Barkly Street DUNOLLY VIC 3472
Council property No. 24010.041 ( as shown on the map marked by a a large green circle and labelled as as Gordon Gardens).
Neighbourhood Safer Places (NSPs)
NSPs are places of last resort during the passage of a bushfire, and are intended to be used by persons whose primary bushfire plans have failed. NSPs are places of relative safety only. They are not community fire refuges or emergency relief centres and do not guarantee the survival of those who assemble there.
Depending on the direction of a particular fire, it may not be a safer place to assemble than other places within the municipal district.
NSPs will be assessed by the CFA as providing some protection from immediate risk of direct fire attack, but not necessarily from other risks, such as flying embers.
Council manages and maintains the area and
signage has been erected at the park boundary off
• Barkly Street
• Thompson Street
• Market Street
There is unrestricted emergency access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles from the above streets.
There is adequate parking for vehicles along both sides of the above streets as well. It is possible to have up to 1,000 people and has reticulated water supply.
Access points are located on local roads, well maintained and signed and will accommodate large amounts of vehicles.
The facility will have priority over an event as a NSP in an emergency and on CODE RED days.
