Dunolly RSL

The Dunolly RSL (Returned and Services League) is located at 38 Barkly Street, Dunolly, Victoria. The branch is part of the larger RSL network in Australia, which supports veterans and their families. The Dunolly RSL Hall serves as a community hub where members and locals can gather for various events and activities.

The RSL is known for commemorating important events such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, honoring the service and sacrifice of Australian military personnel.

Anzac Day commemorations feature a spectacular March led by bagpipes from the Cenotaph outside the Post Office, down the length of Broadway to the Town Hall and finally moving onto the RSL Hall.

The March also showcases the local veterans, schoolchildren and a horse-drawn carriage flanked by Light Horsemen. It truly is one of the most reverential and special Anzac Day Marches in the Central Goldfields region.

Remembrance Day held on 11th of November is also solemnly commemorated with a one minute silence each year.

Locals and visitors will gather at the Cenotaph outside the Dunolly Post Office to honour our fallen.

The RSL also host social events, fundraisers, and provide support services for veterans.
